The League of Nations will again subsidize for the coming year the malaria research station of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, according to an announcement made yesterday by Dr. A. S. W. Rosenbach, president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University. The League of Nations has selected the Palestine university as one of six institutions throughout the world to carry on malaria research.
At the same time Dr. Rosenbach announced the gift of 1,000 pounds (approximately $4,800) by the Palestine Economic Corporation, which will enable the University to establish a materials testing laboratory.
