A letter was received at the Jewish Daily Bulletin office yesterday from the United States Penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kans., requesting a free subscription, as Jewish inmates are desirous of reading the paper.
The missive, signed by Oliver B. Isaac, librarian, reads:
“The Jewish inmate population of this institution is desirous of obtaining a free subscription to your paper, should you find it possible to grant us this privilege.”
The prison library has been placed on the Bulletin mailing list.
