Lebanese store owners accused of sponsoring Hezbollah are being investigated by Paraguayan police. According to police sources cited in Portugese media last week, the agents operating in the city of Ciudad del Este found documents and boxes with smuggled goods in the office of Ali Assan Abdallah, Mazen Ali Saleh and Mahmoud Fayed Saleh, as well as Asad Barakat, who has been arrested in Brazil with a pending extradition request issued by Paraguay.
