Lebanon will not discuss any security arrangements or guarantees for an Israeli withdrawal from the southern part of the country, according to the Lebanese prime minister. “Our position is firm and will not change,” said Selim al-Hoss. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that he would seek such arrangements in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal.
