The ceremony of presenting the Legion of Honor decoration to Morris C. Troper, European chairman of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, took place yesterday at the Foreign Office, followed by an official tea party attended by Undersecretary of State Champetier de Ribes, other French officials and representatives of the American colony, including leaders of the American church, American Chamber of Commerce, American Legion and American Correspondents’ Association.
