Sen. Herbert H. Lehman visited President Truman at the White House today and told correspondents late that he will fight for repeal or modification of the subversive control bill enacted into law during the week-end, despite the President’s veto and administration objections. Major Jewish organizations have opposed the bill on the grounds that it would violate traditional American guarantees of individual freedom by the use of “totalitarian methods.”
