Senator Herbert H. Lehman of New York will be awarded the 1952 Gold Medal of Merit of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America, it was announced today by Paul Ginsberg of Atlanta, Ga., national commander of the J.W.V. The Senator will be cited by the veterans for “distinguished service to the nation, to Jewry, and to his fellow veterans.”
