New elections to the local Kehillah here will take place at the beginning of January, according to an ordinance of the city authorities.
Elections to the Lemberg Kehillah took place several months ago, at which the Zionist and National elements were victorious over the old Assimilationist Party which had been in power for many years. As a result of a complaint on the part of the Assimilationists, the city council annulled the elections previously held.
