Funeral services were held here for Leo Weidenthal. a veteran journalist, who died here at the age of 79. He was the editor for 47 years of the Jewish Independent until the Anglo-Jewish weekly was incorporated into the new Cleveland Jewish News in 1964. A native of Cleveland, Mr. Weidenthal was active in the B’nai B’rith and the Cleveland Jewish Community Federation.
