Leon Blum, former premier of France, is now imprisoned at Stuttgart in Germany, according to a dispatch by the French Telegraph Agency.
The dispatch quotes a newspaper in the German town of Schaffhausen on the Swiss-German border, as reporting that Blum, together with Edouard Daladier, who was premier when war broke out, had been taken “to Prinsburg in Breisgau and from there to Stuttgart. Both Blum and Daladier had their ankles and wrists manacled during the time they were being moved, the paper said.
