Religious Zionist leaders from all parts of the country joined today in paying tribute to Leon Gellman, president of the Mizrachi Organization of America, at a testimonial dinner in his honor, at the Commodore Hotel, in recognition of his ten years as president of the Mizrachi.
Prof. Carl J. Friedrich, director of the School for Overseas Administration at Harvard University, was the principal speaker. In recognition of his years of active service to the cause of Zionism, Mr. Gellman received a national victory membership roll of 10,000 newly enrolled members of the Mizrachi. Mr. Gellman, a former newspaper editor, joined the Mizrachi movement thirty-three years ago as its first executive secretary.
