Less than 100 Canadian Jews have asked the External ?airs Department for information on the possibility of their going to Palestine to ?ht there, the department announced over the week-end. The announcement, which made in denial of a report that many Jews and non-Jews were going to Palestine to the part in the war, also stated that only a half-dozen Canadians had shown an infest in leaving to Join the Arabs.
The department reported that it had no indications that arms were leaving its country for Palestine. Shipments of arms require export permits, it was stress-? and none have been issued for European countries or for Palestine.
