Lessing J. Rosenwald, a leader of the American Council for Judaism, was named here yesterday honorary consultant on rare books to the Library of Congress.
Mr. Rosenwald, who has given the nation collections of rare books and fine prints, will counsel the Library of Congress on the development of its collections of rare books. He will be one of several non-salaried consultants to the library who are experts in various fields in the scholarly and book world.
