What’s wrong with the youth groups?
Well, here’s an example. A batch of youngsters were called together recently to form a youth division of the American Jewish Congress to work actively in “a positive program for the insurance of Jewish rights.’ As fine a way to create an early and ineradicable distaste for the whole business of being a Jew as can be imagined!
Here again, let me repeat, it is not only these organizations which are at fault. The lack of knowledge of the fundamentals of educational leadership are manifest in just about every activity in which we participate as Jews.
