Funeral services will be held here Wednesday for I. Levin-Schatzkes, general secretary of the Jewish Socialist Organization and editor of “Der Veker,” a prominent Jewish journalist, who died here yesterday, aged 71. Born in Russia, he came to the United States in 1936, after years of activity in the leadership of the Jewish Socialist Bund in Latvia. He wrote prolifically in Yiddish, and was a member of the Forward Association.
