Israel A. Levitan, American newspaperman employed by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, has been with drawn from Berlin, it was announced today at the European headquarters of the news service.
Levitan left Berlin yesterday for Antwerp after having reported to the American consulate his detention by the secret police for four hours on Monday and the confiscation of his private papers.
