Lewis Libby, a member of Temple Rodef Shalom in northern Virginia, resigned as Vice President Dick Cheney’s top adviser after he was indicted for perjury. Libby was charged with lying to a federal grand jury considering possible charges in the leaking of a CIA operative’s name two years ago.
