The trial of six Fascist editors for defamation of the Jews resumed here today after an adjournment of several weeks.
Defense counsel asked permission to cross examine Chief Rabbi Friediger, one of the objects of the alleged defamation, to establish the truth of certain quotations from the Bible and Talmud. Dr. Friediger’s attorney asked the questions be submitted in writing, to which the court agreed.
