Anti-Semitism in Austria is continuously growing, despite assurances to the contrary given by Chancellor Kurt Schuschnigg in Geneva, the Manchester Guardian, liberal English newspaper, reported today.
Establishment of ghetto schools for Jewish children and their segregation in special schools for Jews, in which even children of Jews converted to Christianity are enrolled, is termed by the paper “a clear violation of the Treaty of St. Germain, which guarantees equal rights to Austrian minorities and religious groups.”
