Liberated Poland will welcome representatives of American Jewish relief organizations, Edward B. Osubka-Morawski, chairman of the Polish Committee of National Liberation told the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here today.
He emphasized that with the approach of winter, the Jews in liberated Poland are in great need of clothing, underwear and shoes. “Poland faces a very difficult if not tragic situation and must have aid at once,” he declared, adding that this applies to Jews as well as to non-Jews in the liberated sections of the country.
