A group of Red Army soldiers released from German prison camps in Italy, visiting the settlement of Kibbutz Yazur today, told the colonists that every Russian Jewish soldier who fell into the hands of the Nazis was executed. All Jews in their own units were slaughtered, they said.
The Russian visitors expressed much interest in the Jewish communal settlements. They were warmly received by the residents of the colony who showed them around and explained the methods of work in the Jewish colonies.
