The Libyan Government has appointed a public custodian to administer the funds and property left behind by Jews who departed from Libya since the June, 1967 Arab-Israeli war, it was reported here today. The custodian’s powers were set for an Indefinite period by an act passed In Tripoli on Sunday. Most of Libya’s Jewish community now resides abroad, mainly in Italy.
