Senator David I. Walsh, of Massachusetts, would like to see the Senate adopt the Tydings resolution protesting the prosecution of Jews in Germany by the Hitler government. Senator Walsh has become a staunch supporter of this resolution, not only because he favors it, but because thousands of people in the state which he represents are requesting its adoption by the United States Senate.
The Tydings resolution is now in the hands of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations where it is awaiting action. Senator Millard E. Tydings of Maryland, author of the resolution, is anxious to see its passage.
