Study classes are being formed by the Chicago section of the National Council of Jewish Women to train Jewish women to combat the anti-Semitic wave set in motion by local Nazis.
Forty-three memberships have been allotted to Chicago on the Committee of One Thousand, which will direct the study classes here and throughout the United States. Mrs. Samuel Alschuler, wife of Judge Alschuler of the United Sates Circuit Court of Appeals, is one of the women to be named to the national group.
