Funeral services were held here yesterday for Louis Lippman, 70, long one of the city’s outstanding insurance men and a former bank president, who died at his home in South Orange, Active in the affairs of Beth Israel Hospital, he was secretary emeritus of that institution. He also was a member of the Progress Club and Temple B’nai Jeshurun.
He was a former clerk of the Essex County Board of Elections and for many years treasurer of the County Republican Committee and vice president of the South Orange Republican Club. Funeral services were conducted by Rabbi Solomon Foster. Burial was in B’nai Jeshurun Cemetery.
