Commencement exercises of the College of Jewish Studies will take place in the Fullerton Hall of the Art Institute Sunday evening.
The main address will be delivered by Dr. Charles A. Stone, professor of Education of the De Paul University. Musical numbers will be given by the Halevi Choral Society under the direction of Hyman Resnick, musical director of the Board of Jewish Education.
The program will also include talks by Dr. Robert Sonnenschein in behalf of the Board of Jewish Education; Dr. A. L. Lassen, president of the Rabbinical Association of Chicago; Dr. A. M. Dushkin, executive director of the Board of Jewish Education, and Dr. Leo L. Honor, director of the College of Jewish Studies. Miss Edith Podorowsky, of the Department of Advanced Hebrew Studies, will deliver an address in Hebrew, and Miss Marcia M. Elisberg, will speak in behalf of the Sunday School Teachers Training Department.
Graduates of the Hebrew Teachers Training Department are Ruth Skidelsky and Lola E. Wasserman. Graduates of the Sunday School Teachers Training Department are Marcia M. Elisberg, Rhea Kanter, Lillian Miransky, Helen Rubin and Ida Visotsky. Graduates of the Department of Advanced Hebrew Studies are Miriam Bernstein, Mary Flanzer, Berenice Mestechkin, Lillian Miransky, Edith Podorowsky, Ruth Robinson, Gertrude Schur, Bertha Sokolow, Mary Wasserman and Minnie Weiss.
