Mayor John V. Lindsay has named Dore Schary, former chairman of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation League, to be “in charge” of plans for the visit of Prime Minister Golda Meir to this city on Sept. 29-30. Mr. Schary, the Mayor said, would coordinate efforts with John S. Palmer, the city’s Commissioner of Public Events, and with Israeli Government officials and Jewish community leaders.
