Dr. Jacob G. Lipman, director of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and Rutgers faculty member, has been appointed a member of the local Board of Education to succeed the late Jesse Straus. Dr. Lipman, who served on the building and finance committees of the Board, was a member of the Palestine Survey Commission at the time the Jewish Agency was formed.
