Lithuania Acts to Curb “blood Libel” Agitators

The Government today issued a statement sharply condemning organizations spreading “blood libel” agitation and calling on the population to deliver anti-Jewish slanderers to the police for trial and imprisonment.

Citing instances of incitement, the statement asserted that the agitation against the Jews was being conducted by “sinister forces.”
