Lithuania Plans Relief from Compulsory Sunday Rest Law

Relief from the compulsory Sunday rest law which caused hardships to Jewish merchants who were thus forced to keep their shops closed two days, has been promised.

It was stated that the government intends to permit Jewish storekeepers to trade for three hours on Sundays.
