A resolution to exclude Jews from the Military Recruiting Commission was adopted yesterday at a session of the Municipal Council in Lodz, which is dominated by the anti-Semitic National Democratic Party.
This resolution resulted in a free-for-all fight when the Jewish members of the Municipal Council read their protest. The National Democratic members at the session drew revolvers threatening to shoot the Jewish councillors. The session was broken up amidst tumult. The Jewish councillors are contemplating legal action against the anti-Semitic National Democratic faction.
