London Ballet Arrives in Israel for Three Weeks of Performances

The London Festival Ballet group of 70 dancers and technicians arrived in Israel for three weeks of performances. Tickets for all 17 performances to be given in this city were sold out weeks ago,

Paul Tortelier, noted French cellist and composer, a non- Jew who lives with his family at Kibbutz Maabarot, conducted the world premiere of his symphony, “Israel, ” this week-end. The symphony, played by the Israel Philharmor?? Orchestra, received a tremendous ovation.
