The Palestine Arab Executive published in the Arab Press a letter sent by the National and Political Club of London to the President of the Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, which reads as follows:
“The National and Political Club is officially informed by the President of the Palestine Arab Congress that the Congress has submitted its demands to the meeting of the Mandates Commission for discussion. As representative of a large portion of the British Nation which considers the contents of the Palestine Mandate a great injustice towards the Arab inhabitants, an absolute violation of pledges given to them and an obvious transgression of Article 22 of the Covenant of the League, we have the honor to forward herewith a copy of resolutions stand point. We wish, particularly, to draw your attention to the resolution adopted by a large number of Conservative members of the British Parliament.
“Our opinion is that the violation of Article 22 of the Covenant of the League of Nations will prejudice the reputation and the influence of the League. It has already provoked suspicion and distrust among many people in Europe and in America.”
