To retain as High Commissioner to Palestine a man like Sir Herbert Samuel, who is opposed to the Jewish National Home idea, would be conducive to the interests of the future of the Jewish Palestine states to-day the “Jewish World,” commenting upon the report recently circulated that Sir Herbert Samuel will remain in office after his present term of administration expires.
“Samuel desires to see the upbuilding of a national home of the Churchill Memorandum, but not that of the Mandate”, the paper further states.
