The JEWISH GUARDIAN, a weekly publication, has instituted libel proceedings against the publishers of the JEWISH CHRONICLE and the JEWISH WORLD of having intimated that the GUARDIAN knew the members of the British Jewish Committee who, Lord Beaverbrook asserted, had asked him to start his anti-Zionist offensive. Repudiating any knowlege or connection with these men, the GUARDIAN declares its contemporaries’ assertion to be libelous and is taking legal action to prove it.
