Following a plea of “not guilty” Friday, the case of Meyer London, Inc., and Dr. Kopel London, president of the firm, charged with violating the Agricultural Markets Law by selling matzohs of less than the specified weight, was put over for trial on June 11 in the Special Sessions Court.

Alderman Walter R. Hart represents the defendants. Assistant District Attorney John Green is prosecuting the case. The following Justices were on the bench Friday: Frederick Kernochan, presiding, Henry Herbert and Thomas Nolan.

The case grew out of complaints made in the Magistrates Court by inspectors of the Department of Markets, Weights and Measures.
