London Mayor Sir Frederick Rowland has sent a letter to Frank Goldman, president of B’nai B’rith, acknowledging receipt of a United Nations flag presented to him by Gordon Liverman, president of the Jewish fraternal organization in England, on the occasion of United Nations Day. The London Mayor wrote: “I should like to express my appreciation of this kindly gesture. I have handed it (the flag) over to the chairman of the London branch of the United Nations Association for safe custody and use on approgriate occasions.”
