The Jerusalem correspondent of the Morning Post reports today that it is felt the end of the general strike, the hundredth day of which was marked by services in the mosques and attempted demonstrations, is approaching under pressure of mercantile, trading and labor circles. He points out, however, that Arab leaders are apparently determined to hold out at least four months in order to create a record.

The Daily Herald reports from Jerusalem that services were held in mosques throughout Palestine yesterday marking the hundredth day of the Arab strike against the Jews and the Government.

The Strike Committee, in a proclamation, declared that “the ultimate aim of the Arabs will certainly be reached and the day of victory is fast approaching.”
