Existence of a well-financed Arab underground in Britain is indicated by letters received recently by a number of persons prominent in public affairs, the London press reports today.
The letters, which are signed “Defenders of Arab Palestine,” announce that a campaign has been launched to prevent Jews from entering Palestine “illegally.” Declaring that “our leader is now with us after a long sojourn in foreign lands” (apparently a reference to the Mufti), the letter declares that “actions are planned not to harm innocent Jews, but to those using innocents as their pawns we shall show ?o mercy.”
