Various rumors current in the European press concerning the proposed loan to the Zionist Executive under the auspices of the League of Nations were refuted by the Executive today.
In a statement issued the Zionist Executive states that it accepts no responsibility for the press statements regarding an international Zionist loan. The reports are only partially correct, the Executive declares, and consequently are misleading and calculated to raise hopes, overlooking the attending difficulties. No authoritative information has been given out to the press, including Zionist papers.
