The Earl of Balfour is coming to the United States from Scotland for the special purpose of opening the 1962 development program of the American Friends of the Hebrew University at a national three-day meeting in Miami Beach, which will start on February 17, it was announced today by Judge Louis E. Levinthal, chairman of the three-day conference.
Community leaders from all parts of the United States will participate in a combined meeting of the board of directors and National Council of the AFHU: under the chairmanship of Daniel G. Ross, chairman of the board. The 1962 program of the organization will be presented at this meeting. Lord Balfour’s address in Miami Beach will be followed by a series of public appearances throughout the country under the auspices of the American Friends of the Hebrew University.
