The two assassins of Lord Moyne will be tried by a Egyptian curt martial on three charges, that of murder, attempted murder and use of firearms, it was announced her today. The murder is considered a military offense under regulations presently in force in Egypt, which gives jurisdiction to the military instead of civil officials.
On Saturday, it is reported, the accused men, Moshe Itzhak Cohen and Charles Salzman, will be questioned in the presence of Moyne’s secretary and aide-de-camp. Meanwhile, police are conducting a wide investigation extending from here to Palestine.
