Hope that the Hebrew University of Jerusalem would ##on be able to return to its home on Mt. Scopus was expressed last night by Lord Samuel, who presided at the annual meeting of the Friends of the Hebrew University.
Lord Samuel, first High Commissioner for Palestine under the British Mandate, ##ported on his recent visit to Israel but said he had not been to the University ##ldings on Mt. Scopus because it had not been considered desirable for him to apply second time for permission to pass through the Arab lines. Lord Samuel crossed ##e from Israeli to Arab-held territory to visit King Abdullah.
