The Los Angeles County Grand Jury today assailed the Los Angeles Board of Education for discrimination in hiring. The Grand Jury claimed that there was discrimination against Jewish, colored, Oriental and middle-age applicants for telephone work. It was pointed out that such applicants were never employed by the Board of Education in the past 33 years.
