Ground-breaking ceremonies for the second Mae Boyar Children’s Home in Israel were held in Or Yehuda yesterday in the presence of leaders of the Pioneer Women’s Organization which is sponsoring the project, and Lou Boyar, the Los Angeles philanthropist who contributed $50, 000 for the home as a living memorial to his late wife. The first Mae Boyar Children’s Home has already been opened in Beisan, Pioneer Women has undertaken to sponsor the management of the homes.
