Dr. Jacob Segal of New York City has been appointed medical director of the Los Angeles Sanitorium, national non-sectarian institution for the care of indigent Tuberculous, it was announced here today.
Dr. Segal was chief of Thoracic Diseases at Bronx Hospital and has played an important role in the field of tuberculosis education. He is the author of “Pulmonary Tuberculosis,” and “An Outline of the Diseases of the Respiratory Tract.”
