The Los Angeles Times Charities has presented a check for $25,000 to the Westside Jewish Community Center for the furnishing and equipping of a youth lounge at the center. The check was presented by Philip Chandler, publisher of the Times, to Max W. Bay, president of the Jewish Centers Association.
