Louis Berlin, who founded the Sentinel, the Chicago English Jewish newspaper, and edited it for 33 years, died here. He had been living here and in Florida in retirement since 1961. He and a friend organized the Sentinel in 1911. In 1943 he sold the publication to J. I. Fishbein, then assistant to the publisher, and to Jack Feldman, then advertising manager.
