Louis J. Block, former principal of the John Marshall High School, nationally known Jewish educator, was seriously injured when struck by an automobile in Oak Park, a suburb of Chicago, Mr. Block’s skull was fractured and he suffered serious internal injuries. Because of his advanced age little hope is held out for his recovery.
