Louis Lipsky, chairman of the American Zionist Council, resigned today as a member of the national board of the American Committee for the Relief of the Yemenite Jews.
His resignation was intended as a protest against the activities of Zacharia Gluska, spokesman of the Yemenite Committee in the United States, who is engaged in organizing a campaign for the benefit of the Yemenite Jews in Israel which, according to Mr. Lipsky, has not been authorized by either the Government of Israel or the Jewish Agency.
